The year 2002 being composer Richard Rodgers’ centenary, we are celebrating his music with lyrics by Lorenz Hart. This CD features some rare tracks from the 1930s previously unavailable on CD - “Lover” by Hildegarde, “Where Or When” by Pat Kirkwood, “Sing For Your Supper” by Phyllis Robins. Amongst the collection of standards we have chosen some lesser known songs, or performances from the less obvious vocalists.
