The score of Jerome Kern’s “Roberta” includes the evergreen “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes and “Lovely To Look At”. The tracks featured here are derived from a studio cast recording made in the 1940s headed by star of stage and screen Kitty Carlisle and Alfred Drake (Oklahoma!).

“Song Of Norway” premiered on Broadway in 1944, one hundred years after Edvard Grieg, on whose music the piece is adapted from, was born. The selections here are performed by the Original Broadway Cast with the exception of Kitty Carlisle who sings the role of Louisa Giovanni.

Every track on this CD has been re-mastered with over 75 minutes of playing time.
