The 1950s saw Toni Arden producing hit singles, head- lining supper clubs and making regular TV appearances. Some of her hit singles are on an earlier Sepia CD, "This is Toni Arden (SEPIA 1050) whilst this new release contains two of her studio LPs complete and first time on CD. As the title suggests, the songs from "Besame!, Toni Arden in Latin America" have a Latin American theme with numbers such as "Besame Mucho", "Perfidia", "Kiss Of Fire", "What A Difference A Day Made", "Adios" - songs that have become widely accepted and loved all over the world. The remaining tracks are from the 1958 "Miss Toni Arden" album showcasing the linguistic skills and acting talents of this versatile chanteuse with Italian songs, French chanson, and standards such as "Sand In My Shoes", "Autumn In New York", "All The Things You Are", "That's All" and ending with "Be My Love".
